Meeting Briefs
Meeting: March 28, 2012
We used a different format this morning to allow guests to meet and talk with all our members, tell us about their businesses and learn how we can help their business grow. See this link for pictures.
Meeting: March 14, 2012
A quiet but fruitful meeting today. (We missed you Gary Thomas.) LeTip Morgan Hill will be welcoming a NEW member. See more on this to be posted soon. Our tables are getting crowded and more tips are being passed. A sign of networking success.
Today’s speaker is one of our newest members, Steve Barsanti with Alain Pinel Realtors. So this was the perfect time to get to know Steve better. About 10 years ago he left a thriving family business to pursue his passion for the real estate industry. And with the support and well wishes of his parents, he has built a flourishing business of his own, developing quality relationships, becoming an expert in his field, and utilizing his enthusiasm in helping others in buying and selling their homes.
Our upcoming Business Building Mixer is just two weeks away. Invite guests to see what we are all about and think about an awesome showboat idea to present.
Meeting: February 29, 2012
Wow, what an awesome speaker we were treated to today! Renee Roberts, owner of Design Factory Graphics. (Full disclosure: this post is authored by Renee Roberts) What we did learn about the power of LeTip and having 20 members acting as your sales force, is that each weekly meeting is worth about $400 of business for Design Factory.
This is a great segue into announcing our upcoming Mixer on March 28. The mixer is free to all area business professionals who are interested in finding out how LeTip can increase their business through qualified business leads. Contact us now for more information and to find out if your business category is available.
Meeting: February 22, 2012
Thank you to our greeter Deb Masey, our Chapter Massage Therapist. Renee Roberts of Design Factory Graphics brought in a living, breathing, interactive showboat. Her two partners in the business, her brother Bob Snow who is the artistic force behind the business and her husband David Mariano who brings creativity in managing production.
Rosy Bergin, owner of Rosy’s at the Beach Restaurant in downtown Morgan Hill is proud to offer items on her menu that you don’t find everywhere else. She chooses a unique selection of beers and wines and changes it up often. Her most unique dessert, the Soup Spoon Sundae received a three page write up in the book, “A Month of Sundaes.” Upcoming events at Rosy’s include “A Feline Affair”, fundraiser for a local animal charity on Sunday Feb. 29, and a Patron tasting event on March 28.
Chapter elections are coming up very soon and our Nominating Committee (Terry Peabody and Steve Barsanti) will be contacting members to see how they can best serve.
Meeting: February 15, 2012
As members were greeted to the meeting this morning, they were handed a raffle ticket to place in the jar on the Showboater table. This ensured everyone went to take a look at something special from Rosy’s at the Beach. The display became the focal point of the meet and greet time where Rosy showcased the unique beers offered at her restaurant, displayed the varied glasses that accompany each beer, and had bottle opener give aways.
Dalina Ramirez from Cherisse’s Hair Salon was our featured speaker. We learned about her past in beauty contests, that she offers parties for young girls where she does updo’s and glitter tatoos, and that her salon even carries hair care products for dogs. Dalina is helping with this year’s fundraiser for the Mt. Madonna YMCA.
